The Smoking Problem at Les Clarines
At Les Clarines, managed by Adoma in Thonon-les-Bains, residents face daily exposure to secondhand smoke. Cigarette butts litter stairwells with poor ventilation, lit cigarettes fill corridors, and parking lot gatherings send smoke into apartments through windows and ventilation systems, harming residents with respiratory issues. This violates France’s tobacco laws (Code de la santé publique, Article L3511-7).
Despite complaints, Adoma and local authorities have not enforced regulations. We demand a smoke-free environment for all residents, especially children.
